Aprovecho Stove Camp 2007 SCHEDULE

Stove Camp 2007 is set to start on Monday 7-16 at 9:00 am. If you are planning on attending and haven't contacted us yet, please get in touch ASAP!!

The following is a schedule for the classes that will be offered for during the 2007 Aprovecho Research Center / ETHOS Stove Camp.

Monday 7-16 Creswell, OR Lab
8:00 Breakfast
9:00 Combustion Class
10:30 Emissions Monitoring Class
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Design principles, heat transfer, and combustion efficiency
2:30 Break
3:00 Rocket stove building

Tuesday 7-17 (Tuesday morning session 8:00 – 1:00 will take place at the Aprovecho Farm in Cottage Grove)
8:00 Breakfast
9:00 Justa stove building, and outdoor kitchen demo
12:00 Lunch
1:45 Meet back at the Creswell Lab
2:00 Intro to Global Warming research
3:00 Global Warming data presentation
4:00 TLUD Gasifiers
7:00 BBQ at the campground (Baker Bay)

Wednesday 7-18
8:00 Breakfast
9:00 Vermiculate & Clay brick making

After this, there are no further scheduled classes (other impromptu classes may be arranged during the workshop). From this point through the end of the camp, everyone will work on designing and constructing natural draft stoves to compete for the annual Kirk Smith Cat Pee award ($250) for the best working stove.
