The Daxu (pronounced daa’-shu) cookstove from China is evidently a TLUD (Top-Lit
UpDraft) gasifier stove. The Daxu company won the First Prize Ashden Award for Enterprise in 2007, producing more than 25,000 units by the time of the competition.
