Gel fuels compared to their alternatives

I read the attached paper at the International Domestic Use of Energy Conference* in Cape Town last week. It shows that gel fuels and their associated appliances give excessive CO and unburned fuel, and concludes that gel fuels should not be used domestically. It also finds them uneconomic.
