PCIAi Bulletin 14: PCIAi Partners in Africa

Dear Partners,
We have published the 14th issue of the PCIAi Bulletin!
The Bulletin provides information on the activities of the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air (PCIAi) and its Partners around the world, and is intended to increase awareness and action on indoor air pollution, household energy and health. Regular features include spotlights on PCIAi Partners, feature articles based on a thematic focus, and recent achievements and advances in household energy, indoor air pollution, and health.
The 14th issue focuses on activities and achievements underway by PCIAi Partners in Africa . This issue contains a collection of spotlight and feature articles on: Gender-focused Energy Centres being established in Tanzania; New funding awarded for scale-up activities in Africa; Darfur refugees learning to use solar cookers in Chad; ProBECi achievements across the region; PCIAi capacity-building workshops; the Biogas for a Better Life African Initiative, and the LP Gas for African Development conference. In addition, we highlight recent Partner activities in Senegal and Nigeria .
As always, the Bulletin contains information on upcoming events and new resources in household energy, indoor air pollution and health.
We hope the PCIAi Bulletin will be an important source of information for PCIAi partners and others working to improve the lives of millions of women and children worldwide. We encourage you to submit updates on your work, announcements of new resources of interest to this community, and feedback on what information would be most useful and interesting for you to receive through the Bulletin.
